Patient Expectations
Dear Patients of Finger Lakes Family Care,
Please call 866-233-9892 to reach the physician on call. This toll free number will connect you directly to either Dr. Smith, Leigh Lafferty, FNP or Susan Quinn, FNP. This is an emergency line only for after hours and weekend coverage. Please do not call for non-urgent requests or any of the following: Rx refills including antibiotics or controlled substances, visit requests, lab or test results, referrals, etc. These can be left on option #1 for our medical receptionist staff.
Please help us continue to provide you with the continuity of care afforded to you by us as a single practice covering for themselves. In order for us to continue this safe and beneficial service to you and your families, we ask that you are mindful of our providers' time away from the office and contact them only in the case of an emergency or a severely urgent condition. Our office hours and open access scheduling allows us to see
acute patients the same day as they request visits, so please call early in the day to be seen. We are more than happy to fit you in by the end of the day instead of having to deal with matters after office hours.
